25 Blogs Chinese Advertisers Should Read

by Ray Ally on October 31, 2009

AdAge

Last week Ad Age China (part of Advertising Age) listed this blog, X-RAY China, as one of the 25 blogs Chinese advertisers should read. The special report written by Normandy Madden, featured some of the best-known bloggers in China.

I was very proud and honoured to be on the list, which contained heavyweight journalists including James Fallows and Thomas Crampton and must browse Internet news media sites like China Smack and Danwei.

China has the fastest growing online population with over 289 million users and countless millions of blogs, covering every topic under the sun. As Normandy writes:

“Blogging has become a national obsession in China, with over 50 million Chinese regularly contributing to local blog sites. A handful of these sites are written in English, and provide a fascinating perspective on a country that is changing quickly. Below, we’ve identified 25 blogs that can serve as a great resource for marketers in China.”

So thank you Ad Age China and more importantly, thank you to all my readers around the globe. Your the ones that keep coming back to see what’s happening in the fastest growing brandscape in the world.
