There can’t be many people in China who didn’t watch the parade, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. It lasted over two hours and was a two-mile procession of troops, tanks, floats and thousands of costumed performers.
Outside of China you might of seen snippets in the news, but not the whole parade. Well, now there is an amazing time lapse video, that condenses it down to three and a half minutes.
Beautifully shot by Dan Chung, of the Guardian, UK and stylishly edited by Xiaoli Wang, it really captures the scale and grandeur of the event.
